Am I really that loose of a player?

The other night I was playing some low stakes HORSE. I had been playing for 20 or 30 minutes and was a little above break-even $$$ when the following hand occurred during the Omaha hi/lo section of the game. I'm dealt some hand in late position which included the A5 of spades.

Short stacked as a bonehead

Last night I was playing in a $50+5 Omaha hi/lo tournament on Poker Stars. 117 players, and we're at the final table. The action folds to the small blind, who tries to be cute by raising into my big blind. If you've read my pet-peeves section, you'll know this is something that really bugs me, and often times I'll 3-bet just in spite. But in this case, I had a real hand: AAJ6 single suited. Unbeknownst to me, my opponent has AJ97 rainbow -- a real doozy of a hand to be raising -- and unbeknownst to him, he only has two live cards against me (9 and 7).
